CDE - Office of Dropout Prevention and Student Re-engagement
New efforts to support dropout prevention and student engagement at the Colorado Department of Education are being initiated with State Fiscal Stabilization Funds through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which was awarded for fiscal years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 from the office of Gov. Bill Ritter. This effort is authorized by Colorado Revised Statute 22-14-101 and builds on the state’s commitment to ensure graduation and school success for all students and re-engaging out of school youth.

Check and Connect - A Comprehensive Student Engagement Intervention
Check & Connect is a model of sustained intervention for promoting students' engagement with school and learning. Demonstrated outcomes include: decrease in truancy, decrease in dropout rates, increase in accrual of credits, increase in school completion, and impact on literacy.

National Clearinghouse on Families & Youth
The National Clearinghouse on Families and Youth is an information resource of the Family and Youth Services Bureau within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. We help current and prospective FYSB grantees – and anyone else who works with at-risk youth and families – to realize their goals, better serve their communities and improve the lives of young people and their families
National Dropout Prevention Center/Network
Provides knowledge and promotes networking for researchers, practioners, policymakers, and families to increase opporunities for youth in at-risk situations to recieve the quality education and services necessary to successfully graduate from high school. The Center/Network is located at Clemson University.
